Antonio Conte still has £94m Tottenham transfer budget to spend after £150m investment

Tottenham have already signed five players during this summer transfer window, with a sixth on the verge of being completed. Early free transfer moves for Fraser Forster and Ivan Perisic were followed swiftly by deals for Richarlison, Yves Bissouma and the season-long loan of Clement Lenglet.

But Tottenham may not be done there. reported at the start of the transfer window opened that Spurs were looking to make at least six new signings in key areas. they have done just that.

But should Antonio Conte want to bring in more players, he has the money available to do just that. Tottenham have been linked with a creative midfielder, with Christian Eriksen a possibility before he chose a move to Manchester United.

That could be an area Conte decides to work with managing director of football Fabio Paratici on to bolster his line-up even further before the new season begins in just under three weeks' time. If he does decide to do that, he could spend big money on another marquee signing.

That is because Spurs still have funds available from the £150million that owners ENIC pumped in when the transfer window opened. The major investment gave Paratici the money to spend to hand Conte the perfect squad to challenge at the top of the table next season.
