Anthony Martial 'considering' options as two offers emerge after Manchester United exit

Anthony Martial could soon make a return to football after leaving Manchester United upon the termination of his contract.

His departure from Old Trafford brought to an end a nine-year spell, where he played 317 times, scored 90 goals and provided 47 assists. Martial hadn't made an appearance for the club since December after undergoing groin surgery.

The 28-year-old now has the opportunity to reignite his career away from England with Lille and Atalanta keeping tabs on his situation. Sky Sports claim both clubs are considering a deal.

Atalanta have identified Martial as a potential target after Gianluca Scamacca suffered an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury last weekend. However, the former United star is thought to be taking his time on considering his future.

He is also subject of interest from Brazil, United Arab Emirates and Major League Soccer (MLS). Elsewhere, Marseille and Besiktas were linked but Martial is said to have no interest in joining either club.

Following his exit from United, his agent told Sky Sports: "Anthony is on vacation. We are studying the different projects and we will take time. Anthony has made sure to be fit and ready for his new club.

"He has been training normally for two months. He is 28-years-old. I hear reports that he would be too financially greedy with the clubs. This is not true. Anthony wants an ambitious project to achieve high club goals and get back into the France team.
