Anthony Joshua vs Daniel Dubois eyewatering fight purse and prize money confirmed

Anthony Joshua will be hoping to become a three-time world champion when he takes on Daniel Dubois for the IBF world heavyweight title at Wembley Stadium this weekend.

The two British boxers will go head-to-head in London on a stacked boxing card, with an eyewatering reported fight purse on the line in a 60-40 split. Sporty Salaries claims Joshua will earn a guaranteed purse of £6 million for the fight, potentially rising up to £25m depending on pay-per-view sales.

It claims Dubois will earn a £3.5 million guaranteed purse for the fight and could earn up to £10m depending on pay-per-view sales, which would be his best career pay day at 27-years-old. Joshua's purse is larger than that of his counterpart given he's the bigger star, despite his former sparring partner being the current title holder.

It's worth noting these are estimated figures for the fight purse, with more details and official confirmation set to come to light once the fight has ended on September 21st. When Joshua defeated Francis Ngannou, it was reported that he made about $50million and another $75million from the rematch with Usyk.

Dubois reportedly earned $454,261 for his WBA title fight with Trevor Bryan in 2022 and $2million against Usyk. In his recent fight against Hrgovic, it was reported that he earned $500,000.
