Anthony Joshua makes 'devastating' promise ahead of Daniel Dubois world title fight at Wembley

Anthony Joshua has vowed to put on a devastating display against fellow British boxer Daniel Dubois when the pair take to the ring this weekend.

The 34-year-old is looking to become a three-time world heavyweight champion, with Dubois' IBF world title on the line at Wembley Stadium on a stacked card of boxing. The two Brits, who were once sparring partners, will lock horns at the home of English football looking to write their name in the history books.

Joshua, who was two-time world champion from 2016 to June 2019 before a shock defeat to Andy Ruiz Jr. and again from December 19 to September 2021, has been without a world title since his defeat to current reigning world heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk. Dubois is the current IBF world heavyweight champion after an eighth round TKO against Filip Hrgovic back in June earlier this year.

I always feel good and I'm always strong physically but I'm strong mentally now as well.

"I feel like I'm ready, I'm really ready and feel like I've prepped well, not just physically but mentally as well."

When asked what the upcoming fight meant to him, Joshua replied: "The best perform of my life. That's it.

"Just putting on one of the most devastating, dominating performances of my career. That's what I'm
