Anthony Joshua looks in great condition two weeks after Oleksandr Usyk defeat

Anthony Joshua has clearly been recuperating greatly following his devastating defeat to Oleksandr Usyk a fortnight ago in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, as the Brit has posted a new photo on his official Instagram account showing off his current physique.

Joshua lost his rematch to Usyk via split decision, enabling the Ukrainian to secure a second consecutive victory over him to defend the unified WBO, WBA, IBO and IBF titles.

The Englishman has now evidently put the past behind him and has recovered well from the loss, having been spotted relaxing at the swimming pool.

He recently took to his Instagram page to post a picture of himself and he’s clearly motivated to intensify his efforts in his pursuit to regain lost glory.

This was clearly captured through the caption beneath his post stating thus: “Note to self; I got to work harder.”

Two weeks ago, Joshua was unable to reclaim the titles he lost to Usyk last year. 

That followed 2021’s showpiece event in UK where Usyk stole the show as he stunned the home favourite inside a large Tottenham Hotspur stadium by a standout performance that saw him claim the WBO, WBA, IBF and IBO world heavyweight belts via unanimous decision.

Albeit the Nigerian-descent put out a much-improved performance during his second chance at success – winning the heart of one of the judges – but his skills, power and resilience could not surpass that of the Ukrainian, whose professional expertise was executed to utmost perfection.
