Anthony Joshua given Tyson Fury instruction ahead of Jermaine Franklin fight
Anthony Joshua has been told by former two-weight world champion Carl Frampton to call out Tyson Fury should he beat Jermaine Franklin on Saturday night at the O2 Arena,
Joshua returns to the ring following two successive defeats to Oleksandr Usyk, and a failed attempt to make a fight against Fury last autumn. His opponent, Franklin, lost on his UK debut last November, with Dilllian Whyte sealing a points victory and Joshua has been told that should he seal a similar win then a Fury fight is there for the taking.
Following the collapse of his deal to fight against Joshua, Fury beat Derek Chisora on December 3rd and left Joshua with the ability to take time away from the ring to choose an appropriate opponent.

In the meantime, Fury has also seen a deal to fight against Oleksandr Usyk collapse in similar fashion to the Joshua negotiations and Frampton has told AJ to definitively call out the WBC heavyweight champion:
The Northern Irishman wrote in his BBC column this week: "I'm not saying a win against Franklin will automatically set up the Fury fight, but I would love to see a stern, clear call-out - 'I want Tyson Fury next'.
"Fury might also be in a position now where he feels like he has to take that fight. He may feel AJ is an easier fight than the Usyk fight, which quite possibly it is.
"I think it could all work in AJ's favour. It could also be a chance for both Britons to get people back on side as well."
AJ vs Franklin takes place on April 1 at London's iconic O2. Some last minute tickets are available, but you can watch the whole thing from the comfort of your sofa for just £9.99 alongside hours of other sport content as part of a DAZN
