Ange takes Celtic lesson into Arsenal clash as Tottenham boss repackages his Rangers mantra for North London derby

The Tottenham fans have been quickly won over by Ange Postecoglou - and the feel-good factor will rumble on if the Australian can lead the club to a win over Arsenal.

The former Celtic boss faces his first North London derby and it's set to be a thriller with both teams boasting an unbeaten record in the English Premier League with Angeball taking over Spurs, while Mikel Arteta's men have picked up where they left off from the previous campaign as they look to challenge for the title. Postecoglou has taken the winning mentality that he created in Scotland south of the border off the back of lifting the Scottish Treble last term - and he looks to be borrowing from his old playbook before Sunday's heavyweight clash.

The message to the Spurs stars before they face off with Arsenal was to embrace the noise around the blockbuster fixture. Speaking ahead of the derby showdown, Postecoglou was quizzed on treating the fixture like "any other game". He responded: "You don't downplay the significance of the game, because even if I tried to there is enough noise around it that the players know the significance of it. They don't live in bubbles.

"We train every day and there is a preparation for us to play our best game of the year. Once we have done that there will be preparation to play our best game the following week. I have tried to instil that in every group I have had - you are preparing for your best game of the season this weekend.

"But it's not like you treat it any differently. People say do you treat it like every other game? Well yes you do because you want to win, but the noise around it is something we have to embrace and absorb."
