Ange silences Tottenham boo boys as Champions League mission is ON after bonkers win

Gutsy Tottenham rebounded in style to sink Luton 2-1 after being booed off while trailing at the break.

Ange Postecoglou's side followed up their 3-0 drubbing against Fulham with a disjointed display against the Hatters who led after only three minutes through Tahith Chong. An own goal from Issa Kabore had the former Celtic manager level in the second half then Brennan Johnson's effort was an inch away from being ruled in using goal line technology. But talisman Son found the winner in the closing stages.

The win moves them level with Aston Villa in fourth and leaves Manchester United with work to do to close the gap and leave Spurs on the outside looking in for a spot in next season's revamped Champions League. The smattering of boos were replaced with relieved cheers at the full time whistle.
