Ange Postecoglou's Spurs leading English Premier League interest in Motherwell star
Ange Postecoglou’s Spurs are among a six-strong list of English Premier League clubs who are interested in landing Motherwell’s teenage sensation Lennon Miller in January.
The London giants are believed to have sent scouts to watch Miller, while Aston Villa, Newcastle, Brighton, Brentford and West Ham are also interested in the 17-year-old.
Miller, who recently signed a contract extension that ties him to Fir Park until the summer of 2026, made one of his first senior appearances against Postecoglou’s Celtic side last season, and has clearly made a lasting impact.
Motherwell will be aware of interest in the midfielder, and have learned from the painful loss of Max Johnston to Austrian giants Sturm Graz for a fraction of what he’s worth, as his contract was allowed to run down.
Miller has started nine of Motherwell’s 13 league games, and played 14 in all competitions, but injury is likely to rule him out until the new year.
Celtic and Rangers are aware of Miller, but the prospect of strutting his stuff in the Premier League in England might be too good an opportunity to turn down, should clubs put a bid in for him.
