Most punters of a Lilywhites persuasion will not be sated by a win over Rangers in the Europa League – such is their disdain for Scottish football – but, let’s be honest, fans of his former club Celtic would absolutely revel in it.
Postecoglou was worshipped by one half of Glasgow during his trophy-laden two-year spell in Scotland while he has also won many admirers in the Premier League.
Not that many of them will be at Ibrox tomorrow night, though. Anyway, the Tottenham manager is speaking in his press conference this evening ahead of the Europa tie.
