Ange Postecoglou has Celtic fans interaction after latest win over Rangers as he revels in punters celebrations

Ange Postecoglou has underlined the importance of Celtic's win over Rangers - and the smiles it has put on punters faces.

The Aussie was able to see some fans of his team revelling in his fifth win over the Ibrox club on Easter Sunday, thanks to a 3-2 success 24 hours earlier. Kyogo's double and a Jota effort put them on their way to moving 12 points clear of Rangers at the top of the league, and with seven games to go, a likely second Premiership title awaits Postecoglou.

Speaking to Celtic TV, the former Australia manager knows how important it was to get the job done, and admits he got to see with his own eyes how celebrations had continued into the following day: "Getting out and about yesterday, it was good to see, I came across a few of our supporters who were having a good Easter Sunday.

"I think they are all unique in different ways as they are different challenges at different times of the year. Home, away, Hampden, they all have a different context to them.

"But we understood this was a big game from a league perspective heading into the tail end of the season, and the ability to put further distance between us and second spot was always going to be a great challenge.

"Being at home against Rangers is always one we want to send our fans home happy, so it was a good edge to the game and had a bit of everything. The lads showed great character to get the job done."
