Ange Postecoglou drops Celtic Treble one liner as boss insists they've turned 'trouble' talk on its head

Ange Postecoglou hailed his Celtic stars for turning trouble into a potential Treble as they booked a place at Hampden.

The Parkhead team swept Dundee United aside and were immediately rewarded with a colossal Scottish Cup semi-final blockbuster against Rangers.

A double from Giorgos Giakoumakis followed an early Callum McGregor drive on Tayside as the Premiership leaders beat Tam Courts' side 3-0.

Celtic already have the Premier Sports Cup in the bag and after a rocky start are now fighting to make it a cup and league clean sweep.

Postecoglou said: “At the start it was all trouble, now it is all treble.

“The important thing is that we are still in the competition and at this stage of the season we have given ourselves an opportunity for success.

“That is the expectation here. That expectation is on me and everyone at the football club. The players need to embrace that.

“We can’t think just because we have won a trophy already that it is going to be a good season.

“We want to win every competition we are in and give ourselves a chance to do that.

“Particularly at this end of the season and we have given ourselves a chance. It should also help with the confidence.”
