Delighted Ange Postecoglou saluted his side's "massive" win over Rangers as he waxed lyrical over skipper Callum McGregor

Speaking to Sky Sports, he said: "Yeah, massive. I'm just really proud of the players.

"It's a difficult place to come to and they got off to a great start and you know in those kind of conditions everything is in their favour, it's going to take a massive effort to turn it around.

"I thought the boys were brilliant.

"They've had character from day one, that's what I keep saying, it's maybe been the one thing people have maybe overlooked, there is a real steel to this team, a resilience.

"We had to be, we lost three games of the first six, we were still putting a team together and the league had already started, but no excuses.

"We wanted to keep pushing on, we had to show that today, Rangers were at it, they put us under pressure, the crowd were behind them, but super proud of our efforts."

And he had kind words for goalscorer Rogic but he was also quick to point out the collective team effort led by all-action skipper McGregor.
