Ange Postecoglou Celtic treble quest sees him up for Manager of the Year double as he leads 4 man shortlist for SFWA award

Ange Postecoglou is on course to land a managerial double to go with a potential Celtic treble after he was nominated for the William Hill SFWA Manager of the Year.

The Parkhead gaffer, who has won the Scottish Premiership for a second successive season and the Viaplay Cup ahead of next month's Scottish Cup final, is on the four-man shortlist alongside top flight dug-out rivals Barry Robson and Stephen Robinson and James McPake, who led Dunfermline into the Championship.

Postecoglou picked up the PFA Scotland Manager of the Year award and is now in contention for the prestigious SFWA gong. He won the award last year, as voted for by members of the Scottish Football Writers' Association. The award will be presented at a dinner in Glasgow on Sunday, May 28 - 24 hours after Celtic will be presented with their league trophy.

Robson is nominated despite only being in charge of Aberdeen for five months. He succeeded Jim Goodwin and has turned the club's fortunes around to lead them into third spot in the league. Robinson has guided St Mirren to a top half finish in for the first time in almost four decades and McPake romped League One with the Pars.
