Ange goes nuclear on 'unacceptable' Tottenham star he gave the hook to as Rangers perfect at 'beautiful' Ibrox

Ange Postecoglou went nuclear on Timo Werner as he unleashed on the Tottenham star over his Ibrox display.

The German international was given the chop at half-time in Govan after a hugely underwhelming 45 minutes that his boss admitted was 'nowhere near' the level he can reach. He told the attacker exactly how he felt at that moment. Spurs grabbed a share of the spoils with a Dejan Kulusevski leveller after Hamza Igamane sent Ibrox wild with his brilliant finish from James Tavernier's cross.

He said: "He wasn't playing anywhere near the levels he can. When you've got 18-year-olds, it's not acceptable to me. I told him that. He's a senior international, a German international.

Meanwhile, goalscorer Kulusevski reckons Rangers played the 'perfect' game at Ibrox as he heaped praise on the home supporters and tonight's venue in this post-match assessment. He told TNT Sports: "I think Rangers played very well, we struggled a bit.

"We didn't play well enough to win the game. I think Rangers played a perfect game, it's a beautiful stadium, and the fans helped them a lot.

"I wanted to change something, to make something happen and I succeeded once but not enough today. It's always important to score but we've got to start winning games now. It's time to win on
