Amazon shoppers hail £17 airpods with 3,000 ratings 'as good as' Apple and Samsung

Everybody wants earbuds or headphones from big-name brands with top reputations, but let's be real - those are often some of the most expensive options on the market. If you wanted to find a bargain for your personal audio, there are heaps of less well-known names out there.

Take this set of Wireless Earbuds from Besnoow, a more generic brand, that you can now pick up on Amazon amazingly cheaply. They're down to just £16.99 from an RRP of £89.99, a huge 81% reduction (although in practice their price has hovered at more like £25 over the last three months).

This means that you could pick up a pair of earbuds for less than the cost of replacing a single lost AirPod, for example, making the value they offer hard to ignore. In fact, a pair of third-generation AirPods with the lightning charging case will set you back £179, just to put things in perspective.

These earbuds are actually more like the AirPods Pro's design, in that they're fully in-ear with a silicone tip for a better seal, and they offer some noise-cancellation thanks to an external microphone (although it probably won't be nearly as impressive as Apple's own noise-dampening). Impressively, the earbuds boast a 40-hour battery life, comprised of between seven and eight hours on a single charge, with repeat recharges housed in the case.

This case also has a handy display so you can see how much battery each earbud has left before you use it. Finally, IP7 water resistance means that the earbuds are safe even if you drop them in water, although there's no dust
