Amazon's energy gadget backed by Martin Lewis' money-saving team reduced in Spring Sale
Today's the day Amazon launches its 2023 Spring Sale where shoppers can find up to 40% off hundreds of household, tech and outdoor items. As shoppers rush to get the best deals one device on offer is guaranteed to help households make a saving.
The retail giants are set to reduce the prices of hundreds of items on its site at 6pm today (March 27) and they'll be available to buy at the spring reduced price until 11:59pm on Wednesday, March 29. Ahead of the huge discounts a handful of Amazon devices have already gone on sale.
We've spotted one money-saving device amongst the pages of deals that is both cheaper to buy and likely to help with a household's monthly energy bills. The type of product is also backed by consumer expert Martin Lewis and the team at Money Saving Experts as it helps point out which plug-in gadgets around the house 'glug' the most energy.

Amazon's Smart Home Starter Kit is now reduced from an original £98.98 to £41.99 and contains two gadgets that monitor and keep track of plug-in household tech - whether its the microwave you use every day, the TV that's always left on standby mode or the phone charger you use every day.
Plug-in home devices are notorious for racking up energy bills quite quickly as the majority of day-to-day devices used around the house can 'quietly' use up a lot of energy without them being in use.
Unless you consistently turn off the switch at the wall even items like kettles and blenders cost to run - especially if they're fitted with an LED light or digital clock.
