Amad is giving Manchester United and Erik ten Hag an option they do not have

When Amad joined Manchester United in January 2021, he was hailed as a potential game-changer of the future. After one year in and around the first team squad the 20-year-old spent the second half of last season on loan in the Scottish Premier League with Rangers, where he scored three goals across all competitions and made a total of 13 appearances.

At United the young forward has already appeared in the Premier League and Champions League but regular first-team opportunities have been hard to find. His situation has left many wondering what the next step will be for the youngster. Can he make that jump up and cement himself in Erik ten Hag's squad?
