Tottenham suffered a significant blow in the transfer market yesterday as Liverpool 'hijacked' their move for Porto winger Luis Diaz.
The north Londoners appeared to be closing in on a new deal only for Jurgen Klopp and the Reds to accelerate their plans for the player. The Colombian is now set for a medical ahead of his move.
Antonio Conte spoke in the midst of the January transfer window about the necessity to have at least two players for each position on the pitch.
