Altrincham vs Manchester United U21 live National League Cup updates and early team news

Manchester United's Under-21s take on Altrincham in the English National League Cup on Tuesday.

The English National League Cup is a new competition for this season and the U21s won their opening game against Forest Green Rovers, winning 3-2 thanks to an impressive display.

Malachi Sharpe, Ethan Ennis and Victor Musa were on the scoresheet in that game and could all be involved again tonight against Altrincham at their none-league stadium Moss Lane.

United head into the match on the back of a 4-1 defeat to Huddersfield in the EFL Trophy last week. Tyrell Malacia made his return from injury in that match and played 45 minutes.
