Altay Bayindir reaction to Brentford goal speaks volumes from poor Man United first half

Altay Bayindir has shown his frustration during Manchester United's clash against Brentford at the G-Tech Community Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

The goalkeeper could be seen pounding his fists on the ground after the Reds conceded their second goal of the afternoon inside 20 minutes. Initially, the goalkeeper managed to parry the ball away from his goal, but it hit Thiago and trickled underneath the 'keeper.

As the Bees' striker wheeled away to celebrate, the goalkeeper could not hide his frustrations. The Turkish international repeatedly hit the ground, summing up what has been a terrible start for the Reds.

Bayindir has had his doubters this season particularly after he was given the responsibility of replacing Andre Onana. On deadline day, the Reds brought in Senne Lammens as a replacement for Onana but he has yet to gain any minutes with Bayindir keeping his place inbetween the sticks.

Fortunately for United, their two-goal disadvantage did not last too long. Benjamin Sesko was allowed three opportunities to score, and on the third time of asking, fired home to reduce the deficit.

However, a defeat for United today would do little to boost Ruben Amorim's position. The Portuguese head coach was under fire last week before the victory over Chelsea gave him respite.

But, should they lose, fresh questions will be asked of not only Bayindir but Amorim too.
