Alpine skiing World Cup finals 2023: Norway edge out Switzerland in closely-fought team event

Norway edged out Switzerland in the mixed team parallel event at the World Cup finals in Soldeu on Friday. A closely-fought final was level at 1-1 as Thea Louise Stjernesund won her head-to-head for Norway and Livio Simonet took his heat for Austria. Ad Andrea Ellenberger stunned Therese Maria Tviberg in the third heat, which left Timon Haugan needing to win, with a fast time.
