Alphonso Davies has already addressed his future amid Manchester United transfer links

Bayern Munich left-back Alphonso Davies has already distanced himself from speculation surrounding his future amid ongoing reports linking him with a move to Manchester United.

According to a report by Sky Germany, United have expressed 'concrete interest' in the Canadian international ahead of next summer's transfer window. Davies, 23, is out of contract at Bayern at the end of this season and speculation about his future has been gathering pace in recent weeks. He is also being linked with a move to Spanish outfit Real Madrid.

However, the defender, who joined Bayern in January 2019, has already refused to entertain such speculation that is surrounding his future beyond the end of this season, insisting he is focused on the current situation with Bayern and nothing else.

"As of now, my full focus is to stay healthy and to play the game with the club I'm with right now," said Davies, speaking earlier this month. "I'm not focused on what's going on in the future.

"I'm just focusing on staying healthy and helping my team win. My team make me feel valued. The whole Bayern community make me feel valued. I see that each and every day."

The Canadian, who is renowned for his speed, has made just north of 200 appearances for Bayern, winning 13 major honours in the process, including five Bundesliga titles and one Champions League crown. Under Vincent Kompany's stewardship this season, the left-back has made 10 appearances thus far, claiming one assist.
