Ally McCoist couldn't resist winding up Alan Brazil over Rangers' unorthodox winner over Livingston.

But the Celtic-daft radio host couldn't believe the Scott Arfield effort that saw Ibrox breathe a sigh of relief after the 1-0 win.

Livi were on their way to a valuable point in Glasgow with Gio van Bronckhorst's side huffing and puffing.

Teenage sensation Alex Lowry impressed again but on the whole things weren't clicking until, 15 minutes from time, Scott Arfield flicked a Borna Barisic pass over Max Stryjek and into the net.

With Celtic ensuring they got the job done at Tynecastle against Hearts the goal maintained Rangers' four point lead at the top of the Premiership.

And speaking on talkSPORT's Sports Breakfast, Brazil began: "How did that Rangers goal go in last night?

"I've just seen it on the..."

McCoist interrupted: "What a goal, by the way! Did you applaud it when it went in?

"You must have been cheering. What a goal."

But Brazil was having none of it: "What a goal?

"What's the keeper doing? Did the keeper have a blue shirt on under his goalie tap?"
