Ally McCoist plans Rangers dance party as Ibrox hero declares he has more moves up his sleeve for Seville

Ally McCoist didn't believe he would see Rangers reach another European final in his lifetime.

The Ibrox legend was spotted dancing away in celebration on the TV gantry as Ibrox rocked in celebration as Rangers progressed past RB Leipzig at Ibrox to set up Europa League final meeting with Eintracht Frankfurt.

And now he's revealed on BT Sports’ final preview show that he isn’t done there when it comes to his exuberant celebrations should his former side lift the trophy in Seville on Wednesday night.

Rangers are featuring in their first European final since 2008 and are vying to lift their first continental silverware since 1971.

He said: "2008 in Manchester was really wonderful. But I did not honestly think in my lifetime I would be fortunate enough to see Rangers in another European final.

"But here we are. The boys have done us proud to a man. There's one final push now. They will probably start second favourites but that won't bother us."

McCoist was leading Rangers out as manager in the Scottish Third Division less than a decade ago.

Now they have triumphed against the odds with the likes of Borussia Dortmund, Red Star Belgrade and RB Leipzig to reach a European final.

And the 59-year-old admits he might not be able to hold back his emotions again and even has started choreographing another victory routine.

He added: “Well I've got news for you, if you think this was over the top, if we win tomorrow and manage to lift that trophy...I've been working on one or two moves, that's all I'm prepare to say at this stage!”
