Ally McCoist in Rangers admission over 'moment of madness' as Ibrox hero reveals let off from his son

Jubilant Ally McCoist admits he had no clue his dancing was being beamed across Britain after Rangers secured their place in the Europa League Final.

The Ibrox icon went viral as he jumped up and down with the players on the pitch who spotted him on punditry duty after the 3-1 win over RB Leipzig.

McCoist's epic reaction was lapped up by Rangers supporters as they secured a first European final appearance since 2008 - a team the pundit was assistant manager of.

And the giggling Ibrox hero was in jovial mood days after a triumph for the ages as he played along with radio sidekick Laura Woods over the achievement Gio van Bronckhorst masterminded.

Speaking on talkSPORT, he said: "Rangers (in the Europa League Final)?

"You're making that up, seriously?

"I would say that is nearly impossible nowadays, with the financial disparity between top clubs.

"That would be just too big an achievement to happen."
