Allianz Hurling League Division 2B/3A/3B round-up

London produced an excellent performance in Ruislip to ease past Mayo by 4-11 to 1-10 in their first home Allianz Hurling League Division 2B game of the year.

With free entry for all of their hurling league clashes this year, the supporters were treated to a strong showing by the Exiles, who lost by 17 points against Donegal last week.

Goals from Mark Dwyer, Matthew Freaney and Benny McCarry helped London to a 3-05 to 1-06 half-time and they never looked back, with Conor McCormack hitting the net late on.

Wicklow suffered a heavy loss in Aughrim to Derry, who cruised to a 2-24 to 1-12 win.

Derry were only two points ahead at the break, 0-10 to 0-08, but they pulled away on the turnaround to make it two victories from two.

Sligo mounted a late rally against 13-man Donegal at Markievicz Park, however it wasn't enough as the visitors prevailed by 1-19 to 2-14.

Declan Coulter and Sean McVeigh both saw red - as did Sligo's Patrick Foley - in a real battle.

In Division 3A Tyrone were too strong for Warwickshire at O'Neills Healy Park, coming away with a 4-29 to 0-07 win. Aidy Kelly (2), Bryan McGurk and Rory Weir got the goals for the home team.

Louth fell to a 2-21 to 0-14 loss against Roscommon in Dundalk, where Mickey Joe Egan and Eoin Fitzgerald found the net.

Armagh crushed Monaghan 4-22 to 0-13 in Inniskeen. Dean Gaffney, Eoin McGuiness, Ryan Gaffney and Tiarnan O'Neill got the goals.

In Division 3B Cavan were turned over on their own patch at Kingspan Breffni by Lancashire, who won 0-23 to 0-12, while Longford were edged out by Fermanagh on a 0-13 to 0-11 scoreline at Glennon Brothers Pearse Park.
