Allen makes Masters exit after whitewash Hawkins defeat
Mark Allen is out of the Cazoo Masters after a surprise 6-0 first round defeat to last year's finalist Barry Hawkins.
The Northern Irishman failed to find the form of last year, the best of his career so far, and exited without registering a frame.
Hawkins amassed a break of 114 in what was a scrappy match for large periods as Allen failed to even make a half-century.
Neil Robertson, Mark Selby and John Higgins have already been beaten in what has been a competitive tournament so far.
Mark Williams meets David Gilbert in the evening match at the Alexandra Palace in London.
