Alleged shoplifter pictured with haul of steak and coffee after being arrested
An alleged shoplifter was pictured with a haul of steak and coffee after being arrested. The man, who has not been named, was detained by police at the Metrolink stop at Victoria station.
GMP Manchester City Centre tweeted a picture of the man with eight jars of Kenco and Nescafe coffee and five packs of steaks laid out on the ground in front of him. Police he say he has been remanded to appear in court.

The coffee and steak has been returned to the store.
GMP City Centre tweeted: This steak and coffee connoisseur was found by #GMPTransportUnit officers during our regular patrols of the #Metrolink network in the City after he had been shoplifting. He was remanded for Court and the goods taken back to the store."
