Remco Evenepoel made history with his triumph at the UCI Road World Championships in Wollongong. He became the fourth rider to add a world title to a Monument and Grand Tour win in the same season. Evenepoel, who won La Doyenne and La Vuelta this year, blitzed his rivals in the closing stages of Sunday's race.
