All roads lead to Tshwane: Loftus Versfeld to host its first Nedbank Cup final, PSL confirms
The iconic Loftus Versfeld Stadium will host the Nedbank Cup final for the first time in its history on Saturday, 27 May, the Premier Soccer League (PSL) officially announced on Tuesday.
This event will mark the 16th edition of the prestigious tournament, which is widely regarded as one of the most popular football competitions in South Africa.
Since Nedbank took over as the primary sponsor of the competition in 2008, the stadium that is home to Tshwane teams the Bulls and Mamelodi Sundowns has never staged a final.

The semi-finals are set to take place this weekend when some of the most popular teams in the league battle it out for the coveted trophy.
Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates feature in a Soweto derby semi-final on Saturday, 6 May (15:00), while Stellenbosch FC and Sekhukhune United will face-off on Sunday, 7 May (18:00).
Mato Madlala, the acting CEO of the PSL, expressed her excitement about the choice of venue for this year's final.
