All-Ireland SFC: What's at stake in the final round of group games?

The final round of games in the All-Ireland SFC take place this weekend with all of the matches set to take place in neutral venues.

Here is a guide of what's at stake in each group.

Group 1 is easily the most competitive as all four counties can still top the group, while all four could still finish bottom.

Tyrone, Cavan, Donegal and Mayo all have two points going into the last round of fixtures.

If teams finish equal on points, a big possibility in this group, their head-to-head record in their previous games against each other will be the deciding factor.

Group 2 is more straightforward.

Kerry and Meath will both progress, so their game will just decide who finishes first. If Kerry win or draw, they will go straight into the All-Ireland quarter-finals.

If they finish second they will have a home preliminary quarter-final.

For Meath to finish third, Roscommon would have to beat Cork and overhaul a 14-point score difference.

There is a lot winning on the Roscommon vs Cork game. It is essentially a playoff to remain in the championship, but a draw would also be enough for Roscommon.

Group 3 is much more settled than the first two groupings.

The winner of Monaghan vs Down will top the group (while a draw would be enough for Down). Louth vs Clare will decided which side progresses in the championship.

In Group 4, Armagh are safely through to the quarter-finals.

It is all to play for between Dublin, Galway and Derry.

Galway will have to overcome Armagh for a place in the preliminary quarter-finals.

Dublin will be safe if they beat Derry. The combination that could see them crash out would be victories for Derry and Galway.
