Aljaz Skorjanec tells wife Janette Manrara love you' as he subtly defends her amid return to work

Aljaz Skorjanec has publicly shared his love for his wife Janette Manrara as he appeared to subtly defend her following her return to work. The former Strictly Come Dancing professional dancer has left fans in awe as he documents his fatherhood journey after welcoming a baby girl over the summer.

Aljaz, 33, and Janette, 39, who was also a pro dancer on the BBC dance show, welcomed their first child into the world at the end of July. The couple announced their daughter's arrival on July 29, with her being born the day before, in a social media post shared on both of their Instagram pages featuring the first adorable photo of the new family of three.

The pair have since been keeping their fans and followers updated on Lyra's progress and their new life as a family of three which has included Aljaz sharing regular videos to his Instagram Story when doing the night feeds.

But on Thursday afternoon (September 28), the dancer documented his journey down to London from their Cheshire home as he paid a special visit to see Janette at work on Strictly spin-off It Takes Two. After joining his wife with their baby girl, and keeping his followers updated, Aljaz returned with a video as he headed out into the city.

"Janette has missed Lyra so much and it was beautiful to see them back together," he shared as he spoke directly to the camera. "Although I think it was only like 24 hours, but I think that's the longest ever so far!"
