Alexander Zverev's brother gives fresh injury update after surgery with Wimbledon in doubt

Alexander Zverev's brother has shared a positive update after the world No 3 underwent surgery for the freak injury he picked up in his French Open semi-final against Rafael Nadal. The German recently confirmed that he had torn several ligaments in his ankle and was already beginning his rehab though Wimbledon looks severely in doubt with the tournament less than three weeks away.

"The ligaments were damaged, but the syndesmosis ligament and the capsule are intact," he told Eurosport Germany.

The former world No 25 continued: "Sascha said: 'Come over, I'm bored, let's play
