Alejandro Garnacho has given a glimpse into his new life in London through a series of photos shared on social media. Chelsea signed the Argentina international from Manchester United for £40million during the summer transfer window.
The first photo shows him enjoying a day out at what appears to be Hyde Park Winter Wonderland with his two-year-old son Enzo. Another image reveals that he has been watching the final season of the television show Stranger Things.
In a striking fourth picture, Garnacho is depicted as comic book hero Batman on one side and as himself in a Chelsea shirt on the other, complete with Joker-style smudged makeup. He also references Batman in his 20th and final post, which features a still from the film The Dark Knight with the words "No Risk No Story" added.
The post also includes a shot of United shirts belonging to Amad and Kobbie Mainoo, who swapped shirts with him after United's victory over Chelsea at Old Trafford in September. Several of his former teammates, including Bruno Fernandes, Patrick Dorgu and Manuel Ugarte, liked the post. Alvaro Fernandez Carreas, a fellow former United academy player, responded with two fire emojis.
Garnacho made the move to Chelsea three months ago, just two days before the summer transfer window closed. That marked the first professional move of his career, having previously only played in Madrid before joining United's academy in October 2020.
The winger has featured 11 times for his new club, netting twice and providing two assists. Both of those assists arrived in his most recent Premier League appearance, a 2-0 triumph at Stamford Bridge over Wolverhampton Wanderers.
