Alejandro Garnacho is responding to Erik ten Hag's demand at Manchester United
For all the praise that Kobbie Mainoo has banked this week, it is only fair that Alejandro Garnacho is given some fully deserved attention.
The Manchester United winger, who recently became a father for the first time, has had one of the best weeks of his career so far. After scoring what could be a shoo-in for the Goal of the Season award against Everton last weekend, he plundered an emphatic opener in Wednesday night's 3-3 draw against Galatasaray.
Though it was not quite as jaw-dropping as his strike at Goodison Park a little over 72 hours earlier, it was an excellent finish featuring levels of both composure and ruthlessness. Garnacho has now tripled his goals tally for the season in just two games.

As a result of his goals against Everton and Galatasaray, the 19-year-old is now United's top-goalscoring winger so far this season. Marcus Rashford is the only other out-and-out winger to have found the net this term with two.
With that statistic in mind, Garnacho has all of a sudden established himself as an undroppable figure on the left-flank. He has started each of United's last six matches, last being left out of the starting XI for the derby day defeat to Manchester City on October 29.
Over the course of those games he grew in stature and his recent upturn in form has meant he's hogged the left-wing slot in recent weeks forcing Rashford, who missed the clash with Galatasaray through suspension, to the right.
