Aldi shoppers go wild for £45 homeware Special Buy that looks 'the same as' £175 designer version

Supermarket giant Aldi has sent shoppers wild with a £44.99 Special Buy that looks almost identical to a £175 designer set. The supermarket chain often releases Special Buys that look suspiciously similar to designer items with a substantially higher ticket price.

Aldi's latest Special Buy is no exception. The retailer is selling trunk sets for £44.99 - and they look just like more expensive sets from designer homeware brand MADE. People love them and have been snapping them up.

The Kirkton House Trunk Set features a small and large trunk, both of which are lockable and stackable. The set features a vintage-style design and comes in navy and grey or grey and white. The set is priced at £44.99.

The popular storage set has racked up a number of five star reviews on the Aldi website. One reviewer said: “Well please with these, they are a decent size and look really great. A great price too.”

A second wrote: “Beautiful trunks. Absolutely love these trunks. Very well made good sturdy and hood lots of ur lovely items. I have placed mine on top of wardobe which looks lovely” A third added: “Lovely trunk set. A really lovely set, very smart looking and great value for money”.
