Aldi's sell out egg chair is back in stock - and it's less than £200
Aldi’s popular and highly sought after egg chair is back after selling out in just 45 minutes in February. The Gardenline small hanging egg chair is now back online for pre-orders, coming in at under £200.
The stylish garden chair is priced at £189.99, or you can buy it with the cover for an extra £10. It comes just weeks after the covers were recalled over worries their ‘fire-retardant effectiveness may deteriorate over time’.
But now, the chair and its covers are back and offer a relaxing space to soak up the sun in the garden with a good book or a cocktail.

Aldi said: “The Small Hanging Egg Chair by Gardenline is the ideal way to relax in stylish comfort. Perfect for the patio or conservatory, this comfortable rattan effect hanging chair will be your seat of choice. Simply swing up your legs and make the most of that comfortable space! Pour yourself an ice-cold drink, grab a good book and enjoy those long summer days and lighter evenings.”
Shoppers can pre-order the chair now ready for estimated dispatch on June 5. Aldi claims the item will be ‘shipped as soon as possible’, but orders are restricted to one per person due to high demand.
The UV resistant chair is made with a powder coated steel frame and offers a safety strap that helps keep the chair steady as you climb in or out.
Since its launch, the Aldi egg chair has racked up more than 1,650 five star reviews from customers who love their garden feature.
Jim Cook said: “I’ve waited three years for this and I am so delighted that I’ve actually bought one now having missed out for the last two years. This is amazing quality compared to the ones in the garden
