Aldi gives shoppers five-day warning as they are urged to set their alarms ahead of Sunday's major launch

Budget supermarket giant Aldi has announced the return to one of its most popular ever Special Buys to all stores. The retailer's £199.99 Hanging Egg Chair has proven immensely popular with shoppers, and sells out at the speed of light every time it comes back into stock.

Other retailers, such as Tesco, B&M and Home Bargains have all stocked their own egg chairs. However, Aldi's budget £199.99 version is particularly popular - and has seen queues of over 100,000 people hoping to get one in the past.

Now Aldi is warning shoppers to set their alarms in the hope of bagging a Hanging Egg Chair, as it is making a return. Aldi's £199.99 Hanging Egg chair will go on sale on the Aldi website this Sunday (March 19).

For those looking for a bigger version of the chair which they can share with friends and loved-ones, the supermarket giant says it will be stocking a large version of the regular Hanging Egg Chair, which will cost £344.99.

While the regular Hanging Egg Chairs are not available to buy at the moment, shoppers can buy the larger version on the Aldi website here - with dispatch estimated for March 19.
