Alan Brazil plots to ditch Rangers favourite as Celtic love in for Ibrox anthem catches him out

Radio host Alan Brazil was caught on the hop when Celtic fan Trevor Sinclair admitted he's a fan of Ibrox anthem 'Simply The Best'.

And the former Ipswich star joked he might explore ditching the daily quiz section that goes by the same name from his morning radio schedule.

Sinclair confessed he can't help but love the Tina Turner classic but Brazil was having none of it, as he doubled down on his love for the men in green and white.

Brazil predicted a "gubbing" for Celtic against Rangers in Sunday's Scottish Cup semi final but it was Gio van Bronckhorst's side who outlasted their great rivals.

Speaking on talkSPORT, he asked Sinclair: "Were you at Hampden, last week?

"Oh, you didn't go?

"How can you like this song?

"McCoist goes mental every time he hears it."

Brazil loves going at it with Rangers icon Ally McCoist and he insists he's on the Ange Postecoglou train after initial scepticism.

But the former Scotland international got his Parkhead predictions mixed up as he tipped them to lose at Ibrox but triumph at the national stadium.
