AJ Dillon: Green Bay Packers RB smokes mascot with insane hit during charity game

Green Bay Packers running back AJ Dillon has gone viral over the weekend over footage that emerged of him with a minor league baseball mascot.

It is pretty fun to see sports come together sometimes, especially if it can be done in a light-hearted way, such as this past week when a few members of the Arsenal squad met up with Baltimore Ravens defender Marlon Humphrey to engage in some keepie-uppies.

And with the NFL season some time away and players not getting back in proper training and drills for another week or so, this is a good chance for a lot of NFL players to get involved with some charity work and be involved in their local community.

However, Green Bay Packers running back AJ Dillon appeared to have something else on his mind this weekend as he took part in a celebrity softball game in Kenosha, Wisconsin and was involved in an incident with a mascot.

Dillon has established himself as a very important member of the Packers offense in recent seasons, although he has had to share the running back spot with teammate Aaron Jones which meant that his numbers from last season were good, but not overly impressive compared to what a normal starting running back would expect to get.

With 803 rushing yards and rushing 8 touchdowns he did however manage to lead the team in both categories, this was despite only starting just two games and working off of 183 rushing attempts, which averaged out at 11 per game over the 17-game season.

It will be interesting to see if the Packers stick with the two running backs this season or if they lean more on one rather than the other, but Dillon made himself known to management this past weekend with his actions.

Quite how the incident came about is a mystery, but it really is
