Airdrie star credits gaffer for his best season yet

Calum Gallagher says he is in his best form since signing for Airdrie in 2019, and credits boss Rhys McCabe with how he and the team are playing.

Airdrie have been the form team in League One for some time now, bagging 24 goals in a six-game unbeaten run stretching back to March 4, while striker Gallagher has bagged 21 in 38, as they approach the final straight.

“The issue this season has been that we’ve maybe been lacking that little bit of resilience, or to be a bit more street-wise, or whatever you want to call it.

“But that’s coming into our game as the team
