Nigeria’s Super Eagles right-back Ola Aina has won Nottingham Forest’s Goal of the Month award for November.
Nottingham Forest announced Aina as the winner on their X handle on Wednesday.
Also, the club posted a video of Aina’s goal, which was voted for by the club’s fans.
The goal was Forest’s opener in a 2-0 home win against Aston Villa in the Premier League.
Aina opened the scoring in the 5th minute after meeting a cross with a low shot that flew past Villa’s 2022 World Cup-winning goalkeeper, Emiliano Martinez.
It is Aina’s first-ever goal for Forest since joining them in the summer from Serie A club Torino.
Since the win against Villa, Forest have lost their last three games.
The two-time Champions League winners are currently in 15th place on 13 points in the league table, six points away from the relegation zone.
