The win means the Kangaroos stay in the play-off places with two rounds to play.
Armagh woman Blaithin Mackin had 12 disposals, two marks and two tackles as Melbourne hammered Gold Coast Suns 58-9 to move into second place in the table.
Mackin's team-mate Sinéad Goldrick missed out with a hamstring injury.
Tipperary's Aisling McCarthy had 14 disposals and four tackles but couldn't stop West Coast Eagles going down 34-25 at Geelong.
