AFLW: Sarah Rowe and Aishling Sheridan chip in as Collingwood go third

Collingwood maintained their push for a top-four spot for a top-four spot after a 32-3 win away to Fremantle, with Mayo's Sarah Rowe contributing a behind and 13 disposals at the Oval.

Two goals from Sabrina Fredrick and one each from Jaimee Lambert and Ash Brazill were the key scores as Collingwood took control in the second quarter.

Cavan's Aishling Sheridan chipped in with nine disposals for the winners, who are now up to ninth in the table.

Greater Western Sydney left it late against Hawthorn at Henson Park, with a behind from Nicola Barr securing a 34-33 victory. Bríd Stack and Cora Staunton had 15 disposals between them.

The Hawks, who had Mayo's Aileen Gilroy and Áine McDonagh of Galway in their ranks, looked to be on course for victory when Bridie Hipwell kicked to give them a one-goal advantage with four minutes remaining. However, Georgia Garnett marked on the goal-line and quickly played on to level the scores, before Barr sealed the deal at the death.

The Western Bulldogs remain on course for a first finals appearance since their triumph in 2018 after seeing off St Kilda by 35-20.

It was a sixth straight defeat for the Saints in tricky underfoot conditions at the Mars Stadium in Ballarat. Two quick goals from Caitlin Greiser and Georgia Patrikios has them ahead early on and they were a point to the good at the break, with the hosts struggling with conversion, kicking six behinds.

A Nic Stevens goal still had the Saints ahead at the final break, but the Bulldogs dominated the final quarter. An accidental Elisabeth Georgostathis goal from outside 50 pushed them eight clear, with Ellie Blackbirn's influence crucial late on as the winning margin was pushed out to 15 points.
