AEW: Wardlow is officially ALL ELITE

Last night saw one of the fastest rising talent in AEW finally secure himself an official contract.

Double Or Nothing kicked off its official show with a bang as Wardlow finally got the chance to get his revenge on MJF.

Over the past month or so, Wardlow has been put through an array of trials and challenges on his path to earning a chance of going one-on-one with MJF.

This rivalry started when Wardlow decided not to help MJF at AEW’s Revolution Pay-Per-View and placed MJF’s Dynamite Diamond Ring on the ring apron for CM Punk to use during the dog collar match to pick up the victory on MJF. 

Little did Wardlow know, is that his situation now isn’t as simple as he thought. Wardlow wasn’t actually under contract with All Elite Wrestling he was under contract to work for MJF. 

Since Revolution MJF has made Wardlow’s life a living hell, starting with costing him his TNT Championship opportunity at St.Patrick’s Day Slam and then proceeding to ban him from arenas, remove his ring music and even have him escorted around the building by security. 

However, when the two met in the ring at Double Or Nothing last night, Wardlow most definitely got his payback. 

MJF would start the bout trying to evade and run away from Wardlow, but this wouldn’t last long as Mr Mayhem would eventually get his hands on MJF and end up powerbombing him 10 times before pinning him, picking up an emphatic victory, sending a message to the AEW locker room.

Post-match saw Tony Schiavone chat to Wardlow on the stage and reveal that he now has an official contract with All Elite Wrestling.
