AEW: Top Champion in contact with AEW/ROH

Per, Fightful Select a top champion has been reported to have been in contact with AEW/ROH.

When ROH went temporarily out of business after their Final Battle event in the fall of last year several talents were ultimately relinquished and became free agents.The biggest name to come from this is current ROH World Champion, Jonathan Gresham.Gresham has been in the headlines recently after being linked to every top company in the professional wrestling industry and has even made appearances with the ROH Championship in IMPACT Wrestling and other shows on the independents.

It was reported that on the 23rd February edition of AEW Dynamite that Gresham was present backstage.Fightful Select has indicated that Gresham is very likely to be working with Khan in some way, especially with Khan’s recent purchasing of ROH.In recent days there has been speculation of whether we will see any AEW and ROH crossover and our first indication will be seen on April 1st at ROH Supercard Of Honor where the ROH Tag Team Champions, The Briscoes are set to defend their titles against former AEW Tag Champions and current AAA Tag Champions FTR.

Gresham has also been confirmed for the event where he will face Bandido to determine the Undisputed ROH World Champion.
