AEW: Moxley vs Punk 2 confirmed for All Out

Sunday 4th of September, AEW All Out at the NOWArena in Chicago will see the AEW World Championship rematch as CM Punk has a shot at redemption against Jon Moxley.

It was revealed last night on AEW Dynamite who Jon Moxley will defend his AEW World Championship against at the upcoming All Out PPV. CM Punk signed on the dotted line to make the bout official and win back the AEW World Championship in his hometown of Chicago.

The night began with Moxley taking to the ring to address the AEW fans, who all week have been speculating who the new Undisputed AEW World Champion will face at All Out.

Moxley got a mixed reception from the Chicago crowd as he was in “Punk country”. The AEW World Champion fired shots at the hometown hero and vocalised that the same would occur again if Punk chose to step in the ring with him once again.

Mox finished the segment by leaving an open contract in the middle of the ring and leaving through the crowd.

As the contract lay in the middle of the ring, it was picked up by one of the AEW backstage staff in Ace Steel. Steel put the contract in his back pocket and stormed to the back.

Later in the night, CM Punk did emerge to the ring to address and greet the Chicago crowd and even went as far as to say he might step away from wrestling once again as he doesn’t know what’s left.

Steel, who was Punk’s wrestling coach, re-emerged in the ring to cut a heated promo and slap Punk in the face, telling him he needs to fight Jon Moxley at all, forcing the contract into his hand.

A now fired-up Punk changed his demeanour and spoke about Chicago as he walked through the crowd, contract and microphone in hand.

Punk accepted the challenge, which could be his final shot for a while to reclaim the AEW World
