AEW: Huge title match announced for Battle Of The Belts.

It seems as if the new AEW Women’s Champion Thunder Rosa will have her wish of being a fighting champion granted as the date and opponent were announced for her first title defence.

AEW announced on last night’s Dynamite that AEW Women’s Champion Thunder Rosa will make her first title defence against rival and former AEW Women’s Champion, The Native Beast, Nyla Rose.

Over the past few weeks, Rose has cheap-shotted and laid out Rosa to cement her place in the AEW Women’s World Title picture once more. As mentioned before Rose is no stranger to holding AEW gold, having a title reign that lasted 101 days.Rose has the opportunity to become the first-ever two-time AEW Women’s Champion but “La Mera Mera” is eager to get her AEW title reign underway and cement her legacy in AEW in the quest to becoming the greatest AEW Women’s Champion of all time.

The date and location where this match will take place is April 15th at the Curtis Cullwell Center in Garland Texas for AEW’s second edition of the Battle Of The Belts special.

Thunder Rosa is red hot coming off her St Patricks Day slam win over Britt Baker in a steel cage match to capture the Women’s Championship but the momentum of Rose over the last few weeks especially makes this bout for the Saturday Night Fight Night edition of AEW very special.

You can watch AEW internationally on FITE TV.
