AEW Dynamite Results: Wardlow is the NEW TNT Champion

Last night’s AEW Dynamite saw the TNT Championship on the line as Scorpio Sky defended against Wardlow in a street fight. Also, Thunder Rosa, Toni Storm, Rush and more were in action.

Plus, a huge main event for the AEW World Championship as Interim champion Jon Moxley defended against The House Of Black’s Brody King.

Wardlow def Scorpio Sky ( c ) – TNT Championship Street Fight 

The match began with Wardlow utilising his strength advantage to keep shrugging off and dropping the champion.

However, Sky soon regained momentum after hitting Wardlow with a low blow, which was completely legal due to the no rules stipulation. 

Sky would get the help of the American Top Team to distract Wardlow and allow him to capitalise and throw him into the steel steps.

As the match progressed, Wardlow regained control and left the Rochester crowd in awe as he nailed Sky with a Swanton Bomb. 

Again ATT would get involved and prevent Wardlow from conducting the powerbomb symphony, allowing Sky a moment to capitalise once more and crack the challenger in the skull with the TNT Championship. Wardlow was able to power out a millisecond before the three-count. 

The closing moments would see Wardlow finally conduct the powerbomb symphony to pick up the victory and become the TNT Champion. 

Christian Cage and Luchasaurus promo-

Cage and Luchasaurus took to the ring to discuss why Luchasaurus aligned with him but were quickly interrupted by Matt Hardy. 

However, Christian would take shots at Matt and his family, including his absent brother Jeff. 

Matt would try and fight but would be overpowered by Luchasaurus, who drove him through the ringside table.

Lee and Swerve looked to strengthen their
